Here, I will provide a brief summary of the primary beliefs I hold to. If you want to know more, you may find what you need in the Bible and by asking me. My email can be located on the About me page.
There is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Is. 44:6; 46:9; Mt. 3:13-17; 28:19-20; Jn. 1:1-2).
Jesus was born of the virgin, Mary, lived the sinless life that we could not despite being tempted, and was beaten and crucified under Pontius Pilate, where the weight and punishment for the sin of man was poured out upon Him (Mt. 1:18-25; 4:1-11; 27:11-55; Mk 10:45). After being buried for three days in a sealed and guarded tomb, He rose again, appearing to the twelve and over five hundred others and ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes for us (Jn. 19:38-42; 20:1-10; Acts 5:31; 7:55-56; 1Co 15:3-8). There is also no other way to the Father except through Christ and no other name by which man may be saved (Jn. 14:6; Acts 4:12).
Man is equally hopelessly and inherently sinful and separated from God, deserving eternal condemnation; this is the only thing that we deserve by our own merit (Gen. 3:1-13; Jn 3:19; Rm 1:18-32; 3:22-23; 6:23).
The Gospel is the “good news” and the power of God that brings salvation to man, “for in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last (Rm 1:16-17).”
